Long Bio
Formed on a lonely Valentines Day, Suncharmer are a dynamic indie/rock quartet who describe themselves as dark indie/glam, melding together influences from T.Rex & Bowie to Arctic Monkeys and Wolf Alice. At the heart of Suncharmer’s sound is lead vocalist Paul Crisp's sharp-eyed lyricism, drifting through cautionary tales, memories and future hopes & fears. Supported by overdriven, angular riffs from lead guitarist Josh Brice and a gut-punching rhythm section consisting of Mike Pocock on bass and Dan Turtle on drums, Suncharmer’s sound is both melodic and explosive.
Suncharmer are for those who see the world for what it is, albeit through a kaleidoscope, building a community of fans who share a love for gritty, melodic music with equal parts glitter and electricity.
